The Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) is a powerful and sensitive technique for DNA amplification. Harborgen RedMerase® 2x PCR Master Mix is an TaqDNA Polymerase mixed with PCR buffer, which can be used for routine PCR and realtime PCR. RedMerase Mix contain a green DNA intercalating dye and a red color, which do not inhibit PCR and allow customer monitor well loadings. RedMerase® Mix contain primer-dimer inhibitors to improve reaction sensitivity and specificity. Optimized buffer system allows RedMerase® 2x PCR Master Mix efficient amplify high GC or high AT sequence. The following protocol is provided to ensure successful PCR using 2x RedMerase Mix. Amplification of templates with high GC content, high secondary structure, low template concentrations, or amplicons shorter than 2 kb do not require further optimization generally.

Reaction setup:
We assembling all reaction components at room temperature and quickly transferring the reactions to a thermocycler preheated to the denaturation temperature (95°C).

Gently mix the reaction. Collect all liquid to the bottom of the tube by a quick spin if necessary.

Transfer PCR tubes to a PCR machine with the block preheated to 95°C and begin thermocycling.
